Raquel Cumba, PhD
I am an NYC-based licensed clinical psychologist who specializes in the treatment of children, adolescents, and adults. I practice in both English and Spanish. I have been licensed as a clinical psychologist in New York since 2015.
I received my doctoral degree from the Catholic University of America with a specialization in Children, Families, and Cultures. I completed my pre-doctoral internship and postdoctoral fellowship at Columbia University’s Children’s Hospital. During those two years, I trained in the Disruptive Behavior Disorders Clinic; the School Based Mental Health Program; the Tourette, Tics, and Related Disorders Clinic; the Children’s Anxiety and Depression Clinic; and the Dialectical Behavioral Therapy Program. I completed an additional postdoctoral fellowship at the Child Mind Institute in their Anxiety & Mood Disorders and Selective Mutism Programs.
Through a comprehensive assessment and evidence-based approach, I can help you ease your concerns so you can reconnect with relationships and the parts of life that matter most.
